Monthly Meeting: 01-30-12

The January meeting is Monday, the 30th, 7pm at the Fire Department. Our guest speaker will be Lt. Milt Proctor of the Deer Park Police Dept. Milt is a black belt in Karate and will discuss Self Defense and show you some techniques. Should be an action packed meeting so come on out. Ofc. Ryan Faehr will discuss crime in Silverton during December. Door prizes at the end of the meeting.

Update:  If you didn’t make it to the January Block Watch meeting, you missed a good one. Officer Jim Replogle held a short meeting and turned it over to Officer Ryan Faehr who told members about the crime in Silverton during January which was very interesting. Then Lt. Milt Proctor from Deer Park Pd who is a black belt talked to members about Self Defense. We had door prizes at the end of the meeting. Come on out to the next meeting on Feb. 27th and you can pick up the information, Block Watch schedule etc. I am working with Lt. Proctor to set up a Self Defense class, since members asked him about it and he told me he would do it. If your interested, contact Officer Jim Replogle.  56 guests were in attendance tonight; come out and join us!!!
